Relax, sit back and let Chef Karen and her team, work with you to plan, cook and serve the perfect meal!


Chef Karen will collaborate with you to plan your customized menu, shop, cook, and serve your meal and best of all, leave your kitchen spotless! A personal chef is an economical alternative to dining out or ordering in. Chef Karen will bring the gourmet experience to your door with gourmet or causal dinners and more.

How it works

Consultation

We will discuss your event, your food choices, suggested beverages, the number of attendees and schedule a time that works for you.

The service

We arrive at your home one hour before service begins, bringing any specialized equipment necessary to prepare your meal. Once the food is ready, you and your guests will enjoy professional tableside service for each course. To ensure you can fully relax, we provide a complete kitchen cleanup once the meal is concluded.

The meal

Each culinary experience is crafted using only the best hand-selected ingredients and health-conscious cooking methods. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared according to your personally curated menu.

The cost

Because every Hummingbird experience is unique, pricing is based on your customized menu and the size of your event or service. We invite you to a FREE 15 -minute discovery call to discuss your vision, after which we will provide a detailed proposal.

A three course casual meal for two


APPETIZER:

Green apple salad drizzled with a honey lemon vinaigrette


ENTREE:

Pan seared chicken breast, aged Cheddar mash with apple jus


DESSERT:

Brown sugar and sauteed banana ripple

Radicchio and fig salad — endive, radicchio, ginger, orange

Lentil Cakes with Garlic Aioli , Broccoli Microgeens


ENTREE:

Mushroom risotto, coconut scented with mushrooms and crispy spinach leaves 


DESSERT:

Star anise and ice wine poached pears with blueberry Oat yogurt, berries and mint
